Testimonials and Endorsements

The BioDome System is an excellent example of an integrated holistic system.  The hydroponics coupled with biodome, is an innovative solution and provides a fantastic education and training resource for students.  The system demonstrates ways of helping to mitigate the impacts of future climate changet.”
Mischa Hewitt, Low Carbon Trust
Our rooftop community garden project in Fremantle, Australia has been supported by BioDome Systems in the creation of a six-metre “grow dome”. This geodesic dome designed for high-intensity vegetable growing in extreme weather conditions is made from high quality materials. It has been made possible using the advanced computer aided design services provided by BioDome Systems. We really appreciate how their work has helped our team with designing our vision and achieving the funding to help us execute it.”.”
George Bray, FreOasis
BioDome systems is providing innovative educational training to young people. We have found the companies approach to be engaging with a forward thinking, can do attitude that will provide an inspiration to young people. We fully support BioDome Systems in developing advanced electronics and advanced manufacturing techniques.

About Us:

Our Goal:

Using computer controlled BioDomes to inspire the next generation to engage in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. We focus on ecosystems science, green technology and advanced electronics to teach students and educators how the digital world works.

More Info:

In 2011 we began developing our initial BioDome prototype based on the knowledge that we need to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, architects and mathematicians in the UK. To achieve that we realised a radical shift in our approach would be required, so we set to work and created BioDome Systems.

Our Inspiration:

We have been inspired by the works of Buckminster Fuller who popularised the geodesic dome as well as Norman Foster who was responsible for designing the gherkin and the creators of research projects like the Eden project and Montreal Biosphere built for the 1967 world expo.

Hello world!

My name is Jamie Clarke and I am the founder and CEO of BioDome Systems.

Welcome to our website. We specialise in constructing biodomes for schools. We offer our products and courses to engage and educate young people in environmental science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Our children face an uncertain future because of what we have done to the planet! For the next generation understanding and restoring the delicate balance of the environment and our way of life may well decide the future of humanity.

BioDome systems works with young people and schools to ensure that they have the valuable knowledge needed to pioneer the next generations eco-friendly consumerism. Safeguarding our futures and putting children with the right skills on the front line for the best jobs of tomorrow.

In order to achieve this we developed biodomes which are similar to those that you may have seen at the Eden project, we developed vertical farming systems to produce food for the future and we developed climate monitoring systems to accurately track changes in local climates over time.

Our mission:

We give you the tools to create life in a box!

The bio-dome is a fantastic way to learn about the delicate balance of our rainforests and how better to get the message home than a fully immersive learning environment where students have there own rainforest to care for. The BioDome system can also be used to learn about the principles of organic farming and sustainable food production.

We are so certain this can meet the needs of young people that we would like to offer a free consultancy session to schools which would be interested in learning more.

We can design geodesic domes of any size or complexity giving bespoke systems that are tailor made to your requirements.

Our bio-domes are hand made and assembled by our team of experienced engineers and craftsman.

We can provide educational materials and custom interiors that engage young people in science and engineering.

We’ve dedicated thousands of hours to learning about the bio-dome and can guarantee it is a fantastic way to learn about the delicate balance of our rainforests and how better to get the message home than a fully immersive learning environment where students have there own rainforest to care for. Still don’t believe us? We are endorsed by leading experts, local governments and the Prince’s Trust
